We had a very positive experience, dealing with Hootan at Touch of Class. We found him to be very thorough and helpful in designing our Double Driveway Gate. The quality of the materials and workmanship is excellent.

We chose to hang the gate ourselves, and ran into a small problem. The inner core of our gate posts were built of concrete block. We attached the supplied gate hinges to the posts using anchor bolts. Then we mortared 1” thick stone veneer to the concrete posts (insetting the hinges into the stonework). Our problem, was that the hinge barrels now didn’t extend far enough out, to allow the gate to swing fully open.

Once we contacted Hootan with the problem, he worked very efficiently to rectify the issue by modifying our hinges. Our gate now hangs perfectly and swings fully open. (for anyone planning on the same type of construction of posts, be sure to advise that you are planning on insetting the hinges with stone, brick etc.) The hinges are of excellent quality… the gate swings open smoothly with just a gentle push. The Q-Bolt system for locking the gate operates very nicely, and is attractive.
